What's Not to Like? I Love Halloween.

I love Halloween festivities...candy, decorating, costumes, tricks...treats. Here in this post I have all of my favorite things..

Starting with AMY STEIN photographs:

This selection of Amy Stein's work is titled "Halloween in Harlem".

On to the next best thing about Halloween!...

My dad let my mom and I borrow his drill and we did this to our pumkins a few years back. They were like swiss cheese pumkins by the time we were through. It was great.

A mathematician and an artist...whoa.

Pure pumkin genius.

For Melissalee.

He must be detail oriented.

An interesting marriage proposal.

A sculptor who works his magic on alternative materials...so cool. I would have a hard time dedicating so much time to something that would disintegrate in mere weeks.

Aw...a cute little........pumpkin squid?

All Hallows Eve Luminaries...and Other Favorable 31st Ideas:

Homemade tin can luminaries. Need I say more?

This seems pretty simple right? haha I love these little fellas.

Tim Burton fashion sample:

Chiquita Banana...love it.

Fabulous Interior Halloween Decorating...

In high school I would go to a friend's house and they ALWAYS had their orange lights hanging around for the month of October and it was just one of those small things I greatly appreciated. It's a glow that white lights can't seem to offer.

As mentioned in a previous posting, I have a soft spot (no pun intended!) for felted things. So here is my contribution to that part of my life.
